Join us as we amble through the woods and along a boardwalk across the marsh out to beautiful Coast Guard Beach, where we will walk along the sand and watch the seals, swimmers and surfers enjoy the waves.

Meet at 9:15 a.m. for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 9:30 a.m. Hosted by Pat Watson with Sweep TBD.
Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and one prior walk of a minimum of two miles.
—Distance: 2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: Leisurely
—Terrain: Unpaved with some tree roots and rocks, pavement and a wooden boardwalk. Mostly flat with one gradual uphill and one downhill slope.
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

— If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.

This walk is authorized under a National Park Service Special Use Permit.

Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. **If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.
