DESCRIPTION:Join us as we amble through the woods and along a boardwalk acr
 oss the marsh out to beautiful Coast Guard Beach\, where we will walk alon
 g the sand and watch the seals\, swimmers and surfers enjoy the waves.\n\n
 Meet at 9:15 a.m. for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 
 9:30 a.m. Hosted by Pat Watson with Sweep TBD.\nPrerequisite: Instructiona
 l Clinic and one prior walk of a minimum of two miles.\n—Distance: 2 mil
 es. No turn-back or shorter option.\n—Pace: Leisurely\n—Terrain: Unpav
 ed with some tree roots and rocks\, pavement and a wooden boardwalk. Mostl
 y flat with one gradual uphill and one downhill slope.\nFor Your Safety: C
 onsider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON
  ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive 
 without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and
  protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail
  conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are acti
 ve year-round.\n— Limit one walk per day.\n— Wear your CCNW ID badge.\
 n— Restrooms and water are available.\n— If your plans change\, kindly
  cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so ot
 her walkers may join.\n\nThis walk is authorized under a National Park Ser
 vice Special Use Permit.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or reschedule
 d for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at leas
 t 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to 
 the walk. **If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-gene
 rated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or
