Note: Clinic space is reserved for members who have not taken a Clinic. If you have attended a Clinic, do not sign up. Instead, book a spot on a beginner-level walk or a refresher session. Thank you.
Welcome to Cape Cod Nordic Walking! Before you sign up for one of our numerous, varied, and amazing walking events, you are required to participate in an Instructional Clinic.
Nordic walking will not only turn your walks into full-body workouts, but it will enhance your quality of life in multiple ways, which you will learn about in class.
Each participant must have their own website account and book a space under their own name.
We do not maintain waitlists.
Topics covered in the session:
There will be opportunity to practice at each level of progression and then we will take a short walk.
~ Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and receive your official CCNW ID badge and lanyard which will be your passport to walks. As of June 1, 2026, the badges are $10 (cash only/exact change please) which helps defray the costs associated with maintaining this club run entirely by trained volunteers. The membership, instruction, and walks are all free of charge. For anyone who is unable to pay $10, we will waive the fee for your badge.
~No restrooms or water available. Bringing your own water is required.
~Dress appropriately for the weather that day and wear comfortable walking shoes.
~There will be a limited number of loaner poles for use at the Clinic. Please place a comment in the space below if you would like to borrow poles for this session.
~If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of Clinic start time so others may join. To cancel: Login > My Walk Registrations > Actions > Cancel > OK.
Clinic may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance.
**Check your email (including spam) AND this event listing
before driving to the Clinic.**
If a Clinic is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email, and the Clinic will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.
Meetinghouse farm is in West Barnstable-address is 2135 Meetinghouse Way (Meetinghouse Way is also known as Rt. 149)- Exit 65 off Rt 6. Drive North on Rt 149. Look for a greenhouse and entrance to the Farm is on the left. If you pass the greenhouse, look for a second entrance on the left.
