Join me for a walk with Nature. This slower paced walk at the Mass Audubon Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary will allow for relaxing time with Beach views, woodland trails, ponds, fields, and a visit with goats.

Meet at 9:45 am for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 10:00 am. Hosted by Norma Ganderson with sweep TBA.

Prerequisite: Insructional Clinic

Distance: 1.75 miles

Pace: slow

Terrain: Gravel and Forest paths with one short distance to cross a road. Rubber tips are not required.

For your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL Walks! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

Wear blaze orange for visibility and safety during hunting season ( Turkey hunting season starts 4/27)

Restrooms are available at the Visitor Center as well as a water refill station. ( Visitor center closed on Mondays) Porta Potty available.

Membership to Audubon or a $5 daily fee is required.

If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so others may join.

Walk may be cancelled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will not longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.
