We’ll meander along the water’s edge at low tide, seeing what washed in on the night tide, and enjoying views of Pleasant Bay, the barrier beach, and islands. Wear shoes that can get wet. Because this walk occurs fully on the beach, sturdy water sandals are OK, but no flip flops, please.
Meet at 7:45 am to sign in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promptly at 8. Tide dependent; please be on time. Hosted by Sue Moynihan with Sweep TBD. Read to bottom for directions to our meeting point.
Prerequisite: Instructional clinic
Distance: 1.5-2 miles (tide & rock-dependent). No shorter or turn-back option.
Pace: Slow to moderate
Terrain: Packed beach sand and some cobbles; expect shoes to get wet
