Our volunteer Hosts post upcoming walks when it’s convenient for them to do so. Some walks may be posted a week or more out, while others may be posted a few days in advance (especially during periods of unsettled weather). Therefore, our calendar is extremely fluid. We suggest that you check the website at least daily to see available walks and instructional clinics.
We offer several clinics each month. Clinics are posted to the website once the previous clinic has concluded.
Once you log in to the website, the next 10 events display above the map, even though there may be 20 scheduled. You can find others using the calendar, or if you prefer to see a full list in order of date, use the drop-down in the Search field to customize your view.
Before booking a spot, read through the walk description to ensure distance, pace, and terrain suit your interest and ability. Please ensure you are able to attend the walk before you schedule. We understand life happens and you may have to cancel, but booking a spot “just in case” you might be able to make it denies others. If an event is full you will see a “Bookings Closed” message above the walk description and a “Fully Booked” message at the bottom. We do not keep waitlists.
While clinics and some walks fill quickly, walkers often cancel their bookings as the date approaches. Walks automatically reopen when space becomes available and the bookings button is live again. It pays to check events the night before and morning of, as this is when bookings are often canceled.
As a reminder, ALWAYS check your email (including spam) AND the walk listing before driving to a walk, as a walk could be canceled for a variety of reasons. If a Host cancels a walk, it no longer shows in the walk listing, and those registered will receive a web-generated email.
