The distance may be modest, but Fox Bottom is one of our hilliest routes, with long inclines and some grades at 20+ percent. This, plus our steady pace, will help build stamina along a route where the Cold War, cliffs, and clay figure prominently. Our reward is one of the Outer Cape’s best high elevation ocean views. Optional post-walk visit to the nearby Truro Farmer’s Market.
Meet at 8:15 am to sign in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promptly at 8:30. Hosted by Sue Moynihan with Sweep TBD. Read to the bottom for directions to our meeting place.
