For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when making your RSVP decision. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Take precautions against the sun, such as sunscreen and a hat. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

Meet at [15 minutes prior to walk time] for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at [time]. Hosted by [first & last name] with Sweep TBD [add first and last name after you get a volunteer].

Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check this event for last-minute notifications before heading out.

Reminders!
- Check the event listing to ensure a Host has not already posted a walk at this location for the same day.
- Locations requiring permits or advance approval: National Seashore lands; MA Audubon properties at Wellfleet Bay, Ashumet, Long Pasture, and Tidmarsh; Eddy Bay; Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve.
- Capacity is capped for some walks at permitted locations. Check with Admins or refer to printed guidance.
- Ensure # of walkers doesn’t exceed our seasonal parking protocol of 50% of available parking between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day.
- Routes along paved roadways are capped at 12 walkers.
- If your walk is at a new location for the Club, please check with Admins in advance.
- For a new-to-you location, we encourage you to complete a New Walk Planning Sheet to prompt thinking about walk approach, capacity, hazards, walk level, etc.
