Explore the winding trails of this 6-acre garden on the shores of Oyster Pond and view thousands of daffodils blooming among budded azaleas, rhododendrons and mountain laurel. Spohr Gardens in Falmouth, MA, is a serene 6-acre woodland oasis featuring winding trails and breathtaking views of Oyster Pond and Nantucket Sound.
Meet at 9:45 am for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 10 am Hosted by Carla Fogaren with Sweep TBD.
—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and physical ability to complete described distance and terrain.
—Distance: 1 to 1.5 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: One hour of grounds and plants by Board members followed by Slow meandering walk to observe beauty of surroundings.
—Terrain: some roots, well walked paths and a few stairs.

Join me for a refreshing Nordic walking experience in the stunning 6-acre woodland garden on Cape Cod. 🥾✨ Lose yourself on the enchanting paths and winding trails that meander along Oyster Pond, offering breathtaking views of Nantucket Sound.
🌸 Immerse yourself in a vibrant display of thousands of blossoms—spring bulbs, rhododendrons, azaleas, day lilies, and more await to delight your senses! 🌺💐
Take a moment to rest by the pond, surrounded by unique anchors and millstones scattered throughout the gardens, as well as the beautiful butterfly garden and four types of beech wood trees.
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.
