For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when making your RSVP decision. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Take precautions against the sun, such as sunscreen and a hat. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.
Meet at 12:45 for sign-in and stretching to begin walk promptly at 1pm.

Prerequisite: Instructional clinic and physical ability to do the pace, length and varied terrain described.
Distance: 3 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
Pace: Slower on hills- moderate on flat areas
Terrain: A combination of well-worn paths (with roots, rocks, hills), some steep inclines and declines, some hard pack roads and asphalt. Due to recent storm some more debris on trail than usual.

-Restrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag for a bio break.
-If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.
-Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Always check your email for last-minute notifications and the event listing on the website before heading out. If a walk is canceled, you will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible on the website.
Directions: Please drive slowly as dirt road has lots of bumps and potholes. From Great Western Road, take Bell’s Neck Road (dirt road) south. Drive 0.25 mile and on the left will be a small trailhead kiosk and parking area. Parking is allowed along the sides of the road as well. Meet at the East Trailhead Parking Area next to the trail kiosk (There is a new parking lot that you will see on the left as you drive down Bells Neck Road, for those of you who have been here before).
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN LOT OFF DEPOT STREET.
