Sunset on the Brewster Flats! A beautiful evening walk! We will start from Linnell Landing, walk the beach to Crosby Landing then tuck behind the dunes and walk the path along Namskaket Marsh to Namskaket Creek.

Meet at 2:30PM for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 2:45PM. Hosted by Leslie Kalinowski with Sweep Mike Kalinowski.

—Prerequisite: Completed CCNW Instructional Clinic, ability to walk 2 miles on varied terrain including some soft sand

—Distance: 2.0 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.

—Pace: Slower to moderate

—Terrain: Hard sand (low tide), some soft sand, we will walk over 2 lower dunes, hard packed dirt path

For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

—Wear your CCNW ID badge.

— Rubber tips are suggested.

— No water or bathroom facilities are available.  Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.

—If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.

Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.

Directions: From Route 6A in Brewster take Linnell Landing road to the end. Meet at the beach parking lot.
