Intermediate, Yarmouth Port, 2.3 miles. Thursday
Enjoy a walk back into history. This walk passes near a historic cemetery, old golf course and a beautiful pond. At the end of the walk, we will enjoy the historic beech tree.
Meet at 8:45 AM for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 9:00 AM. Hosted by Mike Obremski with Sweep Pam Obremski.
—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and two prior intermediate walks.
—Distance: 2.3 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: Moderate with occasional stops.
—Terrain: Some elevation changes, tree roots, and much of the trail is covered with pine needles. There is also a set of steep stairs that we will going up and down.
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

—Restrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.
—If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.
Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.
Directions: Park behind the Yarmouth Port Post Office at 231 Rt. 6A, Yarmouth Port. There is a small lot in front of the Historical Society building.
