Walk through the woods and and the magical Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Boardwalk then be rewarded with a fabulous views of Marconi Beach!
Meet at 10:15 for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 10:30. Hosted by Nancy Strianese with Sweep TBD.
—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and the ability to walk at a moderate pace with an uneven terrain with slight elevation gain including wooden steps.
—Distance: About 2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: Moderate on level and slower on hills with stops for water and to enjoy the scenery.
—Terrain: Diverse, ranging from forest trail, steep wooden descending steps, boardwalk through a swamp and a longish gradual hill on our way back to Marconi station. Short sandy section of trail leading to overlook of beautiful Marconi Beach.
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

—Restrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.
—If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.
This walk is authorized under a National Park Service Special Use Permit.
Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.

Take route 6 to South Wellfleet. Turn Right onto Marconi Station Road keep left at fork onto Marconi Station Road. Follow signs for Marconi Site and White Cedar Swamp. Go all the way to the end and park
