We will Nordic walk the streets of Old Chatham with stops along the way at historical landmarks: Stage Harbor, CG Station and Lighthouse, Godfrey Windmill…all while passing numerous National Registry homes.

Meet at 9 am to sign in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promptly at 9:15 am. Hosted by Anne Dickson  with Sweep TBD. Please read to the bottom for directions to our meeting point.
—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic plus 2 CCNW walks of 2-3 miles.
—Distance: 3.1 mi. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: Moderate with stops along the way.
—Terrain: All asphalt pavement, mostly flat.

For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Disclosure: Chatham is a quintessential Cape Cod village. Therefore, some roads do not have sidewalks. While pedestrians and vehicles are cognizant of this and walker safety is CCNW’s utmost priority , please take into account and decide for yourself before signing up.

—Limit 1 walk per day.
—Wear your CCNW ID badge.
—Rubber tips required.
— Take into account sun exposure (sunglasses, hat, etc.)
—Restrooms and water are available at halfway point. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.
—If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.
