Join us for a fast-paced hike and enjoy the fabulous views on this well-loved hike along the Nauset Marsh to Coast Guard Beach.
Meet at 10:45 for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 11:00. Hosted by Bernadette Lyons with Sweep Miriam Briggs.
—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and the ability to walk 4+ miles at a steady pace
—Distance:4.5 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: Fast pace with fewer stops
—Terrain: Boardwalks, hard-pack dirt, marsh area, wooded trails with moderate grade & some exposed roots, log stairs, and paved bike path.
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

—If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.
This walk is authorized under a National Park Service Special Use Permit
Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.
