Part of the Falmouth Moraine trail, circumnavigate Long Pond with frequent water views.  The trails are nice and wide (watch out for mountain bikers) with a few hills.

Meet at 9:45 for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 10:00. Hosted by Jackie Ferguson with sweep TBD. Please read to the bottom for directions to our meeting point.

• Prerequisite:  Instructional clinic + ability to walk 3+ mi with hills
• Distance: 4 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
• Pace: This walk is a moderate paced walk, we will rest at regular intervals and the tops of the hills!
• Terrain: Wide trails, but with some loose rocks and some inclines

For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

• Limit 1 walk per day
• Wear your CCNW ID badge.
• Porta potty available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.
• If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.

Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.

Directions: 
Goodwill Park Falmouth. You cannot enter from Rt 28 south, you must use the Gifford St entrance just south of Woodview Dr. Park in the last lot on the right in front of the pond and picnic area.
