Distance: 1.75 miles
Pace: Slower with periodic rest and view stops
Terrain: Hard-pack trail, roots, some steps, pavement & boardwalk (bring rubber tips), and a very short stretch on sand to see the beach.
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

- Poison ivy is present along trail edges.
- No restrooms or water. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in the event of a bio break need. Nearest restrooms are at the visitor’s center.
- If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.
Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. This walk is authorized under a National Park Service Special Use Permit.
Directions: Meet at Doane Rock PICNIC Area, Doane Road, Eastham
Route 6 to Eastham. Turn onto Nauset Road and proceed to Doane Rock Picnic Area, on right, just past Tomahawk Trail. We will meet in the rear parking lot by the picnic shelters. DO NOT stop at the first parking lot, continue to the larger rear parking lot. Coords: 41.84345° N, 69.95668° W
