Let’s take in the beauty of Cape Cod Bay at low tide!
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when making your RSVP decision. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions.Take precautions against the sun, such as sunscreen and a hat. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.Please be mindful/take precautions, poison ivy has been present on many trails.

—Prerequisite: Completed Instructional clinic. Ability to walk 2.0 miles at a slower to moderate pace, over varied terrain including 2 lower sand dunes with soft sand.
—Distance: 2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: slower to moderate. Rest stops at approx .5mile intervals.
—Terrain: Sand, beginning with fairly firm (low tide). Note: We will be crossing over 1-2 low (well established) sand dunes with soft sand, then walking behind the sand dunes on hard packed sand/dirt with some soft (about 1/4 mile) sand as well.
Let’s take in the beauty of Cape Cod Bay from Brewster at low tide. We will walk from Linnell Landing to Crosby Landing, then tuck behind the dunes and walk a mostly hard packed trail along Namskaket Marsh. This trail has some soft sand towards the end, about 1/4 mile as it reaches Namskaket Creek. Namskaket Creek separates Brewster from Orleans.
—Limit 1 walk per day and 3 RSVPs per week (Sunday to Saturday) to give others the chance to walk. If you are already holding 3 RSVPs for the week of this walk, please do not sign up.

—Kindly update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time if your plans change. This allows the Host to plan and accommodate other walkers.
Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email, and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.
Directions: From Route 6A in Brewster take Linnell Landing road to the parking lot at the end, at the beach. Sunset is 8PM. Bring a beach chair if you’d like to stay for sunset!
