This walk has a little bit of everything! We will begin at the Nature Center, make our way over to the Sandy Neck lookout point, loop around Night Heron Pond, venture through the wooded Holly Trail, cross over to the meadows and vernal pool, then back over to visit the goats, and the grand finale will be a spectacular view of Sandy Neck lighthouse and marsh from the beach!
Meet at 12:45 PM for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 1 PM. Hosted by Brenda Brown with Sweep tdb.
—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic
—Distance: 2.5 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: Moderate, steady with short breaks for water and to enjoy the scenery.
—Terrain: *varied* hard-pack dirt, gravel, boardwalks, grassy meadows, mostly flat with some rolling hills, roots, a couple minor inclines, and a short section of sandy beach.
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round. There is no hunting at the Audubon properties.

—Restrooms and water are available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.
—If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.
This walk is approved by MA Audubon. Free for members. $5 for adults/ $4 for seniors. Bring exact change please.
