Our popular walk + tea tasting events are back! Our route along this stretch of bayside beach in Truro has sweeping views from the tip of Provincetown to the Canal, and rich stories of the First People and fish packing and bayberry candle industries.

Afterward, we’ll head to Atlantic Spice Company for free tea tasting/sampling (one green or white, one black, and one herbal, plus biscuits). Browse ASC’s fabulous selection of culinary items and specialty gifts while you sip. No obligation to taste or purchase.

Meet at 9:45 am to sign in and stretch. We’ll  begin walking promptly at 10. Hosted by Sue Moynihan with Sweep TBD.

Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic
Distance: ~2.5 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
Pace: Moderate & steady, 22/23-min miles, with view & rest stops every 1/2-mile or so. Fewer stops and longer intervals between stops than beginner walks.
Terrain: Bayside beach with packed sand

For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

• Limit 1 walk per day.
• Wear your CCNW ID badge.
• No restrooms or water. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.
• Open, exposed route. If cold or windy, sunglasses, ear protection, and neck gaiter are recommended.
• If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.

Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather (steady snow/rain, ice, windchill 19 degrees or lower) or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. **Check your email (including spam) AND this walk listing before driving to the walk.** If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email, and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.

Location: Meet at Cold Storage Beach, North Truro.

Directions: From the Mid & Lower Cape—Rt. 6 to Highland Road exit in Truro. Left onto Highland Road. At Salty Market, cross Shore Road and take Pond Road to the Cold Storage Beach Parking lot.

From Provincetown—Rt. 6 to Highland Road exit in Truro. Turn right onto Highland Road. At Salty Market, cross Shore Road and take Pond Road to the Cold Storage Beach Parking Lot.
