This slower-paced walk with rest stops travels through forest and holly grove. Trail climbs Brewster’s last undeveloped hilltop, the highest point on Cape Cod Bay between Wellfleet and Sandwich.

Meet at 9:45 for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 10:00. Hosted by Nancy Strianese with Sweep TBD.

—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic

—Distance: 1.5 miles

—Pace: Slower

—Terrain: Roots and slight elevation gain. We walk along asphalt road from parking lot and trail head.

For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

—Limit 1 walk per day

—Wear your CCNW ID badge

— Rubber tips needed at the beginning of the walk while we are walking along the road.

—Restrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.

—If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.

This walk is approved by the Town of Brewster  Conservation Trust.

Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.

Directions: Mailbox across from entrance to parking lot reads 667 Lower Road, Brewster.

Take Lower Road off Rt. 6A in Brewster. Stay on Lower Road for .3 miles to the Community Garden/Eddy Sisters Trail parking area on the left. WE HAVE BEEN REQUESTED TO PARK IN THE PARKING AREA THAT  IS TO THE LEFT AFTER YOU DRIVE IN. PLEASE PARK IN THE CORRECT PLACE TO NOT JEOPARDIZE FUTURE REQUESTS FOR PERMITS TO WALK HERE.
