On this clue-based scavenger hunt we’ll unlock Provincetown’s fascinating history, treasures, and best-kept secrets, from maritime stories and vibrant arts scene, to stunning natural beauty and welcoming sense of community. Everyone’s a winner on this fun adventure! 🏆🏆 For safe walking along potentially crowded sidewalks, we will not use poles. 

Meet at 9:15 to sign in. We will begin walking promptly at 9:30. Hosted by Sue Moynihan and 2 Sweeps TBD.

Prerequisite: At least 2 prior CCNW walks and ability to walk 3 miles at a moderate pace.

Distance: 3 miles. No shorter or turn-back option.

Pace: Moderate and steady

Terrain: Pavement

For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round.

• Wear your CCNW ID badge
• Wear shoes comfortable for walking around town
• No poles
• Restrooms and water are available
• If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.

Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather (steady rain or snow, ice, windchill of 19 or lower) or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. **Check your email (including spam) AND this walk listing before driving to the walk.** If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email, and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.

Directions: Meet near the restrooms at MacMillan Wharf, Ryder Street Extension, Provincetown. Parking is available on the wharf (should be free until May 1). Allow extra travel time for Rt. 6 construction in Wellfleet.
