One of our favorite walk locations has reopened following a wetland restoration project by the Harwich Conservation Trust. This figure-8 route is perfect for new walkers, those who have been away for a while and are feeling rusty, or walkers who prefer a wide, level path without obstacles. We’ll walk the first 1/2 mile together, focusing on technique. After that, you have the option to walk as many figure-8s as you wish—each one is a mile—at your own pace.

After our walk, feel free to celebrate the start of spring by shopping at the farmers market across the street!

Join the “Meet Your Local Farmers” event on March 28th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School (351 Pleasant Lake Ave., Harwich).

Here’s what to expect:

– **Support Local Agriculture**: Up to 50 farms and conservation groups will be present.
– **Unique Products**: Farmers will sell their distinctive goods, perfect for bringing home some Cape-grown freshness.
– **Live Jazz**: Enjoy performances by Wayne Naus and the Art Ensemble of Cape Cod.

The event is free and open to the public, sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust and Orleans Farmers’ Market. 🌱

Meet at 9:15 am to sign-in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promptly at 9:30. Hosted by Carla Fogaren with Sweep TBD. Read to the bottom for directions to our meeting point at parking lot on Headwaters Drive.
