Meet at 2:00 PM for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 2:15 PM. Hosted by Dorrie Scipione Ross with Sweep TBD. Please read to the bottom for directions to our meeting point.
—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and the ability to walk 3.6 miles at a moderate pace over varied terrain including packed and loose sand.
—Distance: 3.6 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
—Pace: Moderate and steady with a few view and rest stops.
—Terrain: blacktop, marsh trail (possibly wet), and a combination of packed and loose sand.
For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety, if you arrive without water, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks, which are active year-round. Wear blaze orange for visibility and safety during hunting season.
—Limit 1 walk per day.

—Restrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.
—If your plans change, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.
Walk may be canceled, changed, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. **Check your email (including spam) AND this walk listing before driving to the walk. ** If a walk is canceled, registrants will receive a system-generated email, and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.
Directions: Rt. 6 to Lieutenant Island Road in Wellfleet – follow Lieutenant Island Road until you see the wooden causeway (bridge). Look for the wide dirt parking area on the left before you reach the causeway. Parking is limited; I will be there early to help you park close together so we all fit and leave space for others.
