DESCRIPTION:Rare opportunity to walk a beautiful stretch of trail usually o
 ffered only as part of a longer\, advanced-level walk. Meander through the
  woods and along the marsh to Coast Guard Beach\, enjoying long views and 
 marsh grasses transitioning to fall colors.\nMeet at 10:15 to sign in and 
 stretch. We’ll begin promptly at 10:30. Hosted by Nancy Strianese and Sw
 eep TBD. ** Read to the bottom for directions to our meeting point. \nPrer
 equisite: Instructional clinic\nDistance: 1.5 miles\nPace: Slow to modera
 te with periodic rest and view stops\nTerrain: Hard-pack trail\, roots\, s
 ome steps\, pavement &amp\; boardwalk (bring rubber tips)\, and a short st
 retch on the beach.\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when b
 ooking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of per
 sonal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be all
 owed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements
 . Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to prote
 ct yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round. \n\n\n 	Limit 1 wal
 k per day\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	Rubber tips needed. \n 	Poison iv
 y is present along trail edges. \n 	No restrooms or water. Bring tissue in
  a plastic bag in the event of a bio break need.\n 	If your plans change\,
  kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start tim
 e so other walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or resche
 duled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at 
 least 2 hours in advance. ** Check your email (including spam) and this wa
 lk listing before driving to the walk. ** If a walk is canceled\, registra
 nts will receive a system-generated email\, and the walk will no longer be
  visible in the event listing or on the calendar.\nThis walk is authorized
  under a National Park Service Special Use Permit. \nDirections: Meet at D
 oane Rock PICNIC Area (with Shelters)\, Doane Road\, Eastham \nRoute 6 to 
 Eastham. Turn onto Nauset Road and proceed to Doane Rock Picnic Area\, on 
 right\, just past Tomahawk Trail. We will meet in the rear parking lot by 
 the picnic shelters. DO NOT stop at the first parking lot near DOANE ROCK\
