DESCRIPTION:\nA beautiful walk (outgoing tide with low at 9:45 am) along Na
 ntucket Sound. Historic Stage Harbor lighthouse\, views of Monomoy and Mor
 ris Island. Chatham is literally on the elbow of the Cape.\n\nMeet at 9 am
  to sign-in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promptly at 9:15 am. Hosted
  by Anne Dickson with Sweep TBD.  Please read to bottom for directions to
  our meeting point.\n\n—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic\, plus two 2 
 CCNW walks\, and ability to beach walk the distance.\n—Distance:2 miles.
  No turn-back or shorter option.\n—Pace: moderate with some stops along 
 the way.\n—Terrain: mixed:  some soft\, but mostly hard packed sand. Sh
 ort asphalt causeway.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast wh
 en booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of
  personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be
  allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elem
 ents. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Take precautions a
 gainst the sun\, such as sunscreen and a hat. Use repellent to protect you
 rself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\nWe will walk out and ba
 ck along the beach on Nantucket Sound to Stage Harbor Channel.\n\n—Limit
  1 walk per day.\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n— Rubber tips\, sand bask
 ets optional. Open beach so sunglasses\, hat\, skin protection handy. Coul
 d be windy so lite jacket. I update Weather day before so check this event
  in comments.\n—Restrooms are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic b
 ag in case of a bio break need.\n—If your plans change\, kindly cancel y
 our booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walke
 rs may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed or rescheduled for weather 
 or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in a
 dvance. **Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk.**\
 n\nIf walk is canceled\, registrants will receive a system generated email
  and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the cal
 endar.\n\nDIRECTIONS: 385 Hardings Beach Rd. Off Barn Hill Rd. in Chatham.
  Plenty of parking- meet at first lot upon entering beach. Park on left si
 de facing beach.
