DESCRIPTION:For Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when making your
  RSVP decision. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of pe
 rsonal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be al
 lowed to walk. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions.  Take pr
 ecautions against the sun\, such as sunscreen and a hat. Use repellent to 
 protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\nMeet at 12:4
 5 for sign-in and stretching to begin walk promptly at 1pm.\n\nHosted by: 
 Carla Fogaren with sweep TBD.\n\nPrerequisite: Instructional clinic and ph
 ysical ability to do the pace\, length and varied terrain described.\n\nDi
 stance: 3 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n\nPace: Slower on hills-
  moderate on flat areas\n\nTerrain: A combination of well-worn paths (with
  roots\, rocks\, hills)\, some steep inclines and declines\, some hard pac
 k roads and asphalt. Due to recent storm some more debris on trail than us

  a breathtaking walk through the hidden gem that is Bell’s Neck Conserva
 tion Lands in Harwich — where water sparkles\, the Herring River winds p
 eacefully\, and wildlife puts on a spectacular show. 🦢🦅 🪿 🪺\n\
 nWhether you’re in it for the fresh air\, the feathered friends\, or the
  chance to spot something magical\, this walk promises something for the s
 oul. Bring your camera\, your curiosity\, and your sense of wonder. And if
  the moment is just right... a rare glimpse of the legendary Goddess of Be
 ll’s Neck\n\n-Limit 1 walk per day I\n\n-Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n-Br
 ing rubber tips\n\n-Restrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in
  a plastic bag for a bio break.\n\n-If your plans change\, kindly cancel y
 our booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walke
 rs may join.\n\n-Walk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weath
 er or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours i
 n advance. Always check your email for last-minute notifications and the e
 vent listing on the website before heading out. If a walk is canceled\, yo
 u will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be vis
 ible on the website.\n\nDirections:  Please drive slowly as dirt road has
  lots of bumps and potholes. From Great Western Road\, take Bell’s Neck 
 Road (dirt road) south. Drive 0.25 mile and on the left will be a small tr
 ailhead kiosk and parking area. Parking is allowed along the sides of the 
 road as well. Meet at the East Trailhead Parking Area next to the trail ki
 osk (There is a new parking lot that you will see on the left as you drive
  down Bells Neck Road\, for those of you who have been here before).\n\nPL
 EASE DO NOT PARK IN LOT OFF DEPOT STREET.
