DESCRIPTION:Note parking area is at Crooked Cartway!\n\nOur 4.5 mile route 
 at West Barnstable Conservation Area will begin with about a 1.25 mile rou
 te along the wooded wide cart path of Crooked Cartway where we will connec
 t with the power lines for a 2 mile workout with natural intervals of elev
 ation (up and down hills) on wide paths along the power lines.  We will th
 en return by way of the 1.25 mile wooded Crooked Cartway trail\n\nMeet at 
 7:45am for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 8:00am.  Ho

 tional clinic and ability to walk for 3+ miles over hilly terrain at a mod
 erate\, consistent pace\n\nDistance: 4.5 miles\n\nPace: consistent\, moder
 ate (20-25 minute miles)\n\nTerrain: pressed dirt with some loose rocks\, 
 up and down hills\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when b
 ooking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of per
 sonal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be all
 owed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements
 . Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to prote
 ct yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n—Limit 1 walk p
 er day to give others the chance to walk.\n\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge. \
 n\n— Rubber tips/feet or carbide tips. \n\n— No water available. Bring
  tissue in a plastic bag for a bio break.\n\n—If your plans change\, kin
 dly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so
  other walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or reschedule
 d for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at leas
 t 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to 
 the walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-genera
 ted email\, and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or
