SUMMARY:Intermediate: RF Smith Cold Brook Preserve\, Harwich\, 4.5 miles\, 
 (Tuesday)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a lovely walk in this restored 66 acre preserve in 
 Harwich. We will walk the trail along the perimeter of the preserve inclu
 ding 2 additional loops into the woods.   We will then cross 3 wooden br
 idges and circle around 4 ponds. We will experience wonderful views of Col
 d Brook flowing freely and appreciate the amazing wildlife.\n\nMeet at 8:1
 5 am for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 8:30 am. Host
 ed by Rosemary DeVito with sweep TBD.\n\nPrerequisite: Instructional clini
 c\, plus the ability to walk on uneven terrain for the prescribed distance
  and pace\n\nDistance: 4.5 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n\nPace:
  Moderate\, 19/20-min miles. Brief water stops\n\nTerrain: A combination o
 f wide paths with some mulched areas\, some hard pack roads\, short sectio
 n of paved trail\, some roots. Rubber tips are required.\n\nFor Your Safet
 y: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIE
 D ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you arr
 ive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather
  and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for t
 rail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are 
 active year-round.\n\n 	Limit 1 walk per day to give others the chance to 
 walk.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	Carry bug spray.\n 	No water or restr
 ooms are available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag for a bio break.\n 	If y
 our plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance
  of walk start time. This will allow other walkers to sign-up.\n\nWalk may
  be cancelled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Can
 cellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. *Check your e
 mail (including spam) before driving to the walk.*  If a walk is canceled
 \, registrants will receive a system-generated email\, and the walk will n
