DESCRIPTION:Walk through the woods and and the magical Atlantic White Cedar
  Swamp Boardwalk then be rewarded with a fabulous views of Marconi Beach!\
 n\nMeet at 10:15 for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 1
 0:30. Hosted by Nancy Strianese with Sweep TBD.\n\n—Prerequisite: Instru
 ctional Clinic and the ability to walk at a moderate pace with an uneven t
 errain with slight elevation gain including wooden steps.\n\n—Distance: 
 About 2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n\n—Pace: Moderate on lev
 el and slower on hills with stops for water and to enjoy the scenery.\n\n
 —Terrain: Diverse\, ranging from forest trail\, steep  wooden descendin
 g steps\, boardwalk through a swamp and a longish gradual hill on our way 
 back to Marconi station. Short sandy section of trail leading to overlook 
 of beautiful Marconi Beach.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forec
 ast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In considerat
 ion of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will 
 not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from th
 e elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellen
 t to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n—Limi
 t 1 walk per day\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n—Restrooms
  and water are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a b
 io break need.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at 
 least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\
 nThis walk is authorized under a National Park Service Special Use Permit.
 \n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other r
 easons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Ch
 eck your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is c
 anceled\, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk w
 ill no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\nDirec

  Wellfleet. Turn Right onto Marconi Station Road keep left at fork onto Ma
 rconi Station Road. Follow signs for Marconi Site and White Cedar Swamp. G
