DESCRIPTION:We’ll cross the Hatches Harbor Dike and marsh to reach histor
 ic Race Point Light\, enjoying stunning panoramic views and the quality of
  light that put Provincetown on the map for artists and writers in the lat
 e 1800s.\nMeet at 8:45 am to sign in and stretch. We’ll begin walking pr
 omptly at 9. Route is tide dependent\; please be on time. Hosted by Sue Mo
 ynihan with Sweep TBD. Read to the bottom for directions to meeting point.
  \nPrerequisites: Instructional clinic and ability to walk ~3.5 miles at a
  steady pace\, including some sand.\nDistance: ~3.5 miles. No turn-back or
  shorter option.\nPace: 22/23-min miles\, moderate on hard pack\, slower o
 n the sand\, with rest and view stops every 1/2 mile or so.\nTerrain: 1.5 
 miles on sand\, 2 miles on hard pack. Shoes will likely get wet as we cros
 s the marsh.\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking 
 a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal a
 nd group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to
  walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choos
 e appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect your
 self from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n\n 	Limit 1 walk per day
 .\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	Sand baskets helpful.\n 	Carry bug spray.
 \n 	Full sun\, often windy. Suggest a hat\, sunscreen\, &amp\; sunglasses.
 \n 	If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in
  advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nThis walk is aut
 horized under a National Park Service Special Use Permit. \nWalk may be ca
 nceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellati
 on decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. **Check your email (

 re driving to the walk. ** If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receiv
