SUMMARY:INTERMEDIATE\, Bells Neck\, Harwich\, 3.8 miles\, (SATURDAY)
DESCRIPTION:Our walk will take us through a quiet neighborhood along the He
 rring River\, past lots of trees and an old cemetery and then brings us by
  the fish ladder and around West Reservoir with many water views.\n\nMeet 
 at 8:45 a.m. to sign in and stretch.  We’ll begin walking promptly at 9
  a.m. Hosted by Rosemary DeVito with TBD Sweep.  Please read to the botto
 m for directions to our meeting point.\n\n—Prerequisite: Instructional C
 linic\; plus the ability to walk on uneven terrain for the prescribed dist
 ance and pace\n—Distance: 3.8 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n
 —Pace: Moderate\n—Terrain: A combination of well-worn paths (with root
 s\, rocks\, hills)\, and asphalt roads.  Rubber tips recommended.\n\nFor 
 Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST
  BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, 
 if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for t
 he weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate foot
 wear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, 
 which are active year-round. Wear blaze orange for visibility and safety d
 uring Spring turkey hunting season (starting April 27th).\n\n—Limit 1 wa
 lk per day.\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n—Restrooms and water are not a
 vailable. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.\n—I
 f your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in adva
 nce of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\
 , changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation deci
 sion will be made at least 2 hours in advance. **Check your email (includi

 Directions/Location:  Meet at the East Trailhead Parking Area next to the
  trail kiosk.\n\nFrom Great Western Road\, take Bell’s Neck Road (dirt) 
 south.\n\nDrive 0.20 mile and on the left will be a small trailhead kiosk 
 and parking area.
