DESCRIPTION:Yarmouth Port Historical Society\n\nIntermediate/Advanced\, Yar
 mouth Port\, 2.2 or 4.4 miles. Tuesday\n\nEnjoy a walk back into history. 
 This walk passes near a historic cemetery\, old golf course and a beautifu
 l pond. At the end of the walk\, we will enjoy the historic beech tree. Fo
 r our intermediate walkers you may end your walk after visiting the tree. 
 For advanced walkers\, we will then walk the route in reverse to achieve 4
 .4 miles.\n\nMeet at 9:15 AM for sign-in and stretching to begin walking p
 romptly at 9:30 AM. Hosted by Mike Obremski with Sweep Pam Obremski.\n\n
 —Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and two prior intermediate/advanced 
 walks.\n\n—Distance: 2.2 or 4.4 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n
 \n—Pace: Moderate with occasional stops.\n\n—Terrain: Some elevation c
 hanges\, tree roots\, and much of the trail is covered with pine needles. 
 There is also a set of steep stairs that we will going up and down.\n\nFor
  Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUS
 T BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\,
  if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for 
 the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate foo
 twear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\,
  which are active.\n\n—Limit 1 walk per day to give others the chance to
  walk.\n\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n— Carbide tips are recommended\
 ,\n\n—Restrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic b
 ag in case of a bio break need.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly cancel
  your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other wal
 kers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weat
 her or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours 
 in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. 
 If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-generated email 
 and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the cale
 ndar.\n\nDirections: Park behind the Old Yarmouth Inn at 223 Rt. 6A\, Yarm
 outh Port. Park at the far end of the parking lot. Cross the foot bridge a
 nd meet next the Old Chapel.
