DESCRIPTION:Yarmouth Port Historical Society\n\nIntermediate/Advanced\, Yar
 mouth Port\, 2.2 or 4.4 miles. Friday\n\nEnjoy a walk back into history. T
 his walk passes near a historic cemetery\, old golf course and a beautiful
  pond. At the end of the walk\, we will enjoy the historic beech tree. For
  our intermediate walkers you may end your walk after visiting the tree. F
 or advanced walkers\, we will then walk the route in reverse to achieve 4.
 4 miles. No hunting is allowed at this location.\n\nMeet at 8:45 AM for si
 gn-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 9:00 AM. Hosted by Mike 
 Obremski with Sweep Pam Obremski.\n\n—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic
  and two prior intermediate/advanced walks.\n\n—Distance: 2.2 or 4.4 mil
 es. No turn-back or shorter option.\n\n—Pace: Moderate with occasional s
 tops.\n\n—Terrain: Some elevation changes\, tree roots\, and much of the
  trail is covered with pine needles. There is also a set of steep stairs t
 hat we will going up and down.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather fo
 recast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In conside
 ration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you wi
 ll not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from
  the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repel
 lent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active.\n\n—Limit 1 walk
  per day to give others the chance to walk.\n\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.
 \n\n— Carbide tips are recommended\,\n\n—Restrooms and water are not a
 vailable. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.\n\n
 —If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in 
 advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be cance
 led\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation 
 decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (inclu
 ding spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrants
  will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visi
 ble in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\nDirections: Park behind th
 e Old Yarmouth Inn at 223 Rt. 6A\, Yarmouth Port. Park at the far end of t
 he parking lot.
