DESCRIPTION:Two walks in one! Explore part or all of the Wellfleet Audubon
 ’s lovely system of trails. Join us for 3 moderately-paced miles and fin
 ish there or you’ll have the option to continue on for an additional 2-m
 ile loop at a fast pace.\n\nMeet at 12:45 PM for sign-in and stretching to
  begin walking promptly at 1 PM. This walk is tide-dependent. Hosted by Br
 enda Brown with Sweep tbd.\n\n 	Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and for
  those wishing to complete the entire 5-mile route\, you must have walked 
 at least two recent 4+ mile walks at a moderate-fast pace.\n 	Distance: 3 
 OR 5 miles. You may choose to finish after 3 miles\; we will be back at th
 e parking lot then.\n 	Pace: We will start off moderate\, then the 2nd sec
 tion will be at a faster pace.\n 	Terrain: Varied-hard packed with some ro
 ots\, inclines\, possible mud\, boardwalk. Carbide tips are best\, but alw
 ays bring rubber tips.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast w
 hen booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration o
 f personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not b
 e allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the ele
 ments. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to 
 protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round. There is no hun
 ting at the Audubon properties.\n\nWe will all start off at a moderate pac
 e to explore the lovely Silver Spring and the boardwalks of the Goose Pond
  trail for about 3 miles. You can finish your walk there as we will be bac
 k at the Nature Center and parking lot at this point. Or\, if you want to 
 add more distance and to pick up the pace\, continue on with us along the 
 Bay View trail for more gorgeous views of the bay and an additional 2 mile
 s at a faster pace.\n\n 	Limit 1 walk per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.
 \n 	Rubber tips required for the boardwalks.\n 	Restrooms and water are av
 ailable. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.\n 	If 
 your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advanc
 e of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nThis walk is authorized
  by the MA Audubon.\n\nMA Audubon charges a fee of $8\, over 65 $5\, membe
 rs are free.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weathe
 r or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in
  advance. Check your email (including spam) and this event before driving 
 to the walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-gen
 erated email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing o
 r on the calendar.\n\n291 State Highway (Route 6)\, South Wellfleet\n\nCom
 ing from Eastham on Route 6 look for Wellfleet Motel on right side of the 
 road and Wellfleet Drive In on the left side of road. Then look for sign o
 n left side of the road for the Wildlife Sanctuary. You drive down a long 
 drive before arriving at the parking area.
