DESCRIPTION:\n 	Two walks in one! Explore part or all of the Wellfleet Audu
 bon’s lovely system of trails. Join us for 3 moderately-paced miles and 
 finish there or you’ll have the option to continue on for an additional 
 2-mile loop at a fast pace.\n\nMeet at 10:45 AM for sign-in and stretching
  to begin walking promptly at 11 AM. This walk is tide-dependent. Hosted b
 y Brenda Brown with Sweep tbd.\n\n 	Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and
  for those wishing to complete the entire 5-mile route\, you must have wal
 ked at least two recent 4+ mile walks at a moderate-fast pace.\n 	Distance
 : 3 OR 5 miles. You may choose to finish after 3 miles\; we will be back a
 t the parking lot then.\n 	Pace: We will start off moderate\, then the 2nd
  section will be at a faster pace.\n 	Terrain: Varied-hard packed with som
 e roots\, inclines\, possible mud\, boardwalk. Carbide tips are best\, but
  always bring rubber tips.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather foreca
 st when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In considerati
 on of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will n
 ot be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the
  elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent
  to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\nWe will 
 all start off at a moderate pace to explore the lovely Silver Spring and t
 he boardwalks of the Goose Pond trail for about 3 miles. You can finish yo
 ur walk there as we will be back at the Nature Center and parking lot at t
 his point. Or\, if you want to add more distance and to pick up the pace\,
  continue on with us along the Bay View trail for more gorgeous views of t
 he bay and an additional 2 miles at a faster pace.\n\n 	Limit 1 walk per d
 ay.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	Rubber tips required for the boardwalks
 .\n 	Restrooms and water are available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in c
 ase of a bio break need.\n 	If your plans change\, kindly cancel your book
 ing at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may j
 oin.\n\nThis walk is authorized by the MA Audubon.\n\nMA Audubon charges a
  fee of $8\, over 65 $5\, members are free.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, chan
 ged\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision w
 ill be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam)
  and this event before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled\, regist
 rants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be
  visible in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\n291 State Highway (Ro
 ute 6)\, South Wellfleet\n\nComing from Eastham on Route 6 look for Wellfl
 eet Motel on right side of the road and Wellfleet Drive In on the left sid
 e of road. Then look for sign on left side of the road for the Wildlife Sa
 nctuary. You drive down a long drive before arriving at the parking area.
