DESCRIPTION:Deep in the woods of Nickerson State Park is.....The Final Fron
 tier....Area 7 \n\nArea 7....remote\, beautiful and WAY OUT There! Let’s
  go check it out! Our route has a variety of terrain that includes a woode
 d dirt trail with some sweet elevation that’ll get your heart pumping. N
 ext\, an asphalt road then a wide a hard packed dirt fire road. We will wa
 lk the fire road to area 7.  Located at the very end of Nook road\, area 
 7 has stunning campsites\, peek a boo sites of Little Cliff and Higgins po
 nds\, some rolling and some STEEP hills PLUS remnant structures of the pas
 t! Meet at 8:15AM to sign in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promptly 
 at 8:30:AM. Hosted by Leslie Kalinowski with Sweep Mike Kalinowski. Read t
 o the bottom for directions to meeting point.\nPrerequisites: Instructiona
 l clinic\, Two or more 3+ mile walks and is ready for more OR at least one
  advanced walk of 4+ miles. Ability to walk 4+ miles at a moderate pace\, 
 over varied terrain and steep hills.\nDistance: 4.17 miles. No turn-back 
 or shorter option.\nPace: 22/25-min miles\, with rest stops\nTerrain: Wo
 oded path with elevation\, exposed roots and rocks\, asphalt trail\, wide 
 hard packed dirt fire road\, some steep hills.\nFor Your Safety: Consider 
 the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WAL
 KS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without 
 water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect
  yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail condit
 ions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year
 -round.\n\n\n 	Limit 1 walk per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	 Hunt
 ing\, is not allowed in Nickerson State Park.\n 	A porta potty is at the b
 eginning of the trail only. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio
  break need.\n 	If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least
  24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nWalk
  may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. 
 Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. **Check yo
 ur email (including spam) and this event listing\, including comments\, be
 low\, before driving to the walk. ** If a walk is canceled\, registrants 
 will receive a system-generated email\, and the walk will no longer be vis
 ible in the event listing or on the calendar.\nDirections: Meet at Freem
 ans Fields. Freemans Fields are located off of Freemans way in Brewster. 
 The best way to Access Freemans Way is from route 137. The athletic fields
  are approx. 1-1.5 miles down Freemans Way on the left hand side. There is
  a large green “Freemans Field “sign. You can use Route 39 IF you 
 are coming from Orleans but if coming from Harwich\, rte. 39 is closed fo
 r sewer construction at unpredictable times. Once you turn in (at the “F
 reemans Fields sign”) follow the dirt road all the way to the end and pa
 rk.\n&nbsp\;
