DESCRIPTION:Let’s explore some of the beautiful variety of Nickerson Park
 ! We’ll start out by circumnavigating lovely Cliff Pond\, then head into
  the woods for an up and downhill meander to the western shore of Higgins 
 Pond.\nMeet at 8:45 AM to sign in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promp
 tly at 9:00 AM. Hosted by Dorrie Scipione Ross with Sweep TBD. Please read
  to the bottom for directions to our meeting point.\n—Prerequisite: Inst
 ructional Clinic and the ability to walk 4 miles at a steady pace over a v
 ariety of terrain\n—Distance: 4.2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
 \n—Pace: Moderate and steady\, slower on the hills\n—Terrain: Sandy tr
 ail\, hard pack trail\, hills\, roots\, rocks\, pinecones and pine needles
 \, short stretches of pavement. Trail can be narrow and/or uneven at times
 .\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WAT
 ER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group sa
 fety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dres
 s for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropria
 te footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from t

 ay to the end - the parking lot is located between Cliff Pond and Little C
 liff Pond.
