SUMMARY:Intermed: Indian Neck Beach\, Wellfleet\, 3 miles\, Thurs
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a peaceful morning along the Wellfleet flats at minus tid
 e\, with sweeping views from the harbor to the Canal\, oyster farmers at w
 ork\, and interesting finds along the wrack line. On the return we’ll lo
 op through a quiet seasonal neighborhood. Optional post-walk stop at nearb
 y Blue Willow. \nMeet at 6:45 am to sign in and stretch. We’ll begin wa
 lking promptly at 7. Hosted by Sue Moynihan with Sweep TBD. Read to the bo
 ttom for directions to our meeting point. \nPrerequisite: Instructional cl
 inic and ability to meet the distance and pace on sand\nDistance: ~3 miles
 \nPace: Moderate and steady\, 21/22-min miles\, walking as a group. This i
 s not an at-your-own-pace walk.\nTerrain: Combination of packed sand\, som
 e sections of soft sand\, pavement\, and hard pack gravel. Shoes may get w
 et along the tide line. \nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast 
 when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration 
 of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not 
 be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the el
 ements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to
  protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n\n 	Limit 1
  walk per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	Sand or mud baskets helpful.
 \n 	Rubber tips needed for short stretch of pavement.\n 	Carry bug spray.\
 n 	Shoes may get wet along the water line.\n 	No water or restroom. Bring 
 tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.\n 	No beach fee\; we 
 will depart before fees are in effect.\n 	If your plans change\, kindly ca
 ncel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other
  walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for 
 weather (steady rain\, thunder/lightning\, heat index of 91 degrees or hig
 her) or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours
  in advance. **Check your email (including spam) AND this walk listing and
  comments\, below\, before driving to the walk.** If a walk is canceled\, 
 registrants will receive a system-generated email\, and the walk will no l
 onger be visible in the event listing or on the calendar. \nLocation: Meet
  at Indian Neck Beach\, Wellfleet\, at the end of Nauset Road. DO NOT PUT 
 INDIAN NECK INTO GPS\, as it may take you to Wellfleet Harbor. Follow turn
 -by-turn directions\, below. \nDirections from the Mid &amp\; Lower Cape 
 (Wellfleet and points west): Route 6 to Wellfleet. Turn left onto Pilgrim 
 Spring Road\, Wellfleet\, one mile past Chez Chloe Restaurant (on right) a
 nd just past Brownie’s Cabins/fire lookout tower (on left). Look for Ind
 ian Neck Heights sign. Remain on Pilgrim Spring Road to the “Y” and be
 ar left onto Indian Neck Road. Indian Neck becomes Nauset Road. Follow to 
 the end.\n\nDirections from Truro/Provincetown: Route 6 to Wellfleet. Turn
  right onto Pilgrim Spring Road\, Wellfleet\, just before Brownie’s Cabi
 ns/fire lookout tower (on right). Look for Indian Neck Heights sign.  Rem
 ain on Pilgrim Spring Road to the “Y” and bear left onto Indian Neck R
 oad. Indian Neck becomes Nauset Road. Follow to the end.\nCoordinates:  4
