DESCRIPTION:                         Welcome to Cape Cod Nordi
 c Walking!\n\nBefore you sign up for one of our numerous\, varied\, and am
 azing walking events\, you are required to participate in an Instructional
  Clinic.\n\nNordic walking will not only turn your walks into full-body wo
 rkouts\, but it will enhance your quality of life in multiple ways\, which
  you will learn about in class.\n\nEach participant must have their own we
 bsite account and book a space under their own name.\n\nWe do not maintain
  waitlists.\n\nTopics covered in the session:\n\n 	Pole anatomy\, adjustme
 nt\, and pole etiquette\n 	Health benefits\n 	Steps leading up to the Nord
 ic walking technique that will engage up to 90% of your muscles\n 	Discuss
 ion on how to book a space on the website and how to choose a walk that’
 s right for you.\n\nThere will be opportunity to practice at each level of
  progression and then we will take a short walk.\n\n~ Please arrive 15 min
 utes early to sign in and receive your official CCNW ID badge and lanyard 
 which will be your passport to walks. The badges are $10 (cash only/exact 
 change please) which helps defray the costs associated with maintaining th
 is club run entirely by trained volunteers. The membership\, instruction\,
  and walks are all free of charge. For anyone who is unable to pay $10\, w
 e will waive the fee for your badge.\n\n~Restrooms are available. Bringing
  your own water is required.\n\n~Dress appropriately for the weather that 
 day and wear comfortable walking shoes.\n\n~There are a limited number of 
 loaner poles for use at the clinic. Please place a comment in the space be
 low if you would like to borrow poles for this session. They ae also avail
 able at Brooks Free Library.\n\n~If your plans change\, kindly cancel your
  booking at least 24 hours in advance of clinic start time so others may j
 oin. To cancel: Login &gt\; My Walk Registrations &gt\; Actions &gt\; Canc
 el &gt\; OK.\n\nClinic may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weat
 her or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours 
 in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the clinic
 . If a clinic is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-generated em
 ail\, and the clinic will no longer be visible in the event listing or on 
 the calendar.
