DESCRIPTION:Join me for a magical walk along boardwalks and through the woo
 ds of the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp. We'll also enjoy fabulous views of M
 arconi Beach from the overlook!\n\nMeet at 9:45 for sign-in and stretching
  to begin walking promptly at 10:00. Hosted by Brenda Brown with Sweep TBD
 .\n\n—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and the ability to walk at a mo
 derate pace with an uneven terrain with slight elevation gain including wo
 oden steps.\n\n—Distance: About 2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.
 \n\n—Pace: Moderate on level and slower on hills with stops for water an
 d to enjoy the scenery.\n\n—Terrain: Diverse\, ranging from forest trail
 \, steep\, wooden descending steps\, boardwalk through a swamp and a gradu
 al hill on our way back to Marconi station. Short sandy section of trail l
 eading to overlook of beautiful Marconi Beach.\n\nFor Your Safety: Conside
 r the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL W
 ALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive withou
 t water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and prote
 ct yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail condi
 tions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active yea
 r-round. **Display blaze orange for safety and visibility during turkey se
 ason.**\n\n—Limit 1 walk per day.\n\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n—R
 estrooms and water are available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of
  a bio break need.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking
  at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join
 .\n\nThis walk is authorized under a National Park Service Special Use Per
 mit.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or oth
 er reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance

 is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the wa
