DESCRIPTION:Hey! Let's see if we can catch our first 2026 Sunset on the Bre
 wster flats!\n\nMeet at 6:00PM for sign-in and stretching to begin walking
  promptly at 6:15PM Hosted by Leslie Kalinowski with Sweep Mike Kalinowski
 \n\n—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic\, At lease one beginner walk AND
  the Ability to walk 2 miles over varied terrain and a small amount of sof
 t sand. Please read the walk description below carefully.\n\n—Distance: 
 2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n\n—Pace: Moderate 23-26 minute
  miles. Rest stops approx .5-.75 mile intervals\n\n—Terrain: Sand firm\,
  soft (approx 1/8 mile) and hard packed. We will cross over 2 lower sand d
 unes.\n\nWe will walk at low tide from Linnell landing to Crosby Landing b
 each. We will then tuck behind the dunes and walk a hard packed trail alon
 g Namskaket Marsh to Namskaket Creek.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the wea
 ther forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In 
 consideration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\,
  you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourse
 lf from the elements.  Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. 
 We may brush up against some vegetation. Long pants are recommended. Use 
 repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.Ple
 ase be mindful\, poison ivy has been noted on many trails\, consider preca
 utions.\n\n—Limit 1 walk per day\n\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n— R
 ubber tips are recommended or sand baskets may be useful if you use them.\
 n\n-- No Bathroom or water facilities are available. Bring tissue in a pla
 stic bag in case of a bio break need.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly 
 cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so oth
 er walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled fo
 r weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 
 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to the 
 walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-generated 
 email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on th
 e calendar.\n\nDirections:  From Route 6A Brewster\, take Linnell Landing
  road to the end and park at the beach lot. Linnell Landing road is diagon
 ally across from Cobies icecream/restaurant.
