DESCRIPTION:Fort Hill is exceptionally beautiful and showcases a variety of
  terrains and areas of historical interest.\n\nMeet at 9:45 AM for sign-in
  and stretching to begin walking promptly at 10:00 AM. Hosted by Brenda Br
 own with Sweep TBD.\n\n*Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic\n\n*Distance: 1
 .75 miles.  No turn-back or shorter option.\n\n*Pace: Moderate\, with som
 e stops for water and views along the way.\n\n*Terrain: hard packed dirt/g
 rass trails\, some roots\, elongated stairs\, a boardwalk and a few inclin
 es.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk.
  WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and grou
 p safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. 
 Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appro
 priate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself fr
 om ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\nHistoric highlights include a r
 estored whaling Captain’s house\, Red Maple Swamp Boardwalk\, and panora
 mic views across the marshes to the ocean.\n\n—Limit 1 walk per day.\n\n
 —Wear your CCNW ID badge.—Bring rubber tips.\n\n—Restrooms and water
  are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break n
 eed.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 h
 ours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\n—This w
 alk is authorized under a National Park Service Special Use Permit.\n\nWal
 k may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons.
  Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check you
 r email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled
 \, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no 
 longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\nDirections:
