DESCRIPTION:We will explore beautiful Bell’s Neck including West Reservoi
 r and the Herring River.\n\nMeet at 9:45 for sign-in and stretching to beg
 in walk promptly at 10:00 Hosted by: Nancy Strianese with sweep TBD.\n\n\n
 \nPrerequisite: Instructional clinic and comfortable walking on at least 2
  miles of varied terrain.\n\n\nDistance: 2.25 miles. No turn-back or short
 er option.\n\n\nPace: Slower on hills- moderate on flat areas\n\n\nTerrain
 : A combination of well-worn paths (with roots\, rocks\, hills)\, some har
 d pack roads and asphalt.\n\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forec
 ast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In considerat
 ion of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will 
 not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from th
 e elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellen
 t to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n\n\nThi
 s walk will take us along the West Reservoir in beautiful Bell’s Neck Co
 nservation Lands. We will follow wooded trails\, have some great water vie
 ws\, and views of the Herring River from different locations. You might ev
 en want to bring your binoculars to watch the swans\, and osprey.\n\n\n 	L
 imit 1 walk per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	Bring rubber tips\n 	R
 estrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag for a 
 bio break.\n 	If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 2
 4 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\n\nWalk
  may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. 
 Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your
  email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled\
 , registrants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no l
 onger be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\n\nDirections:
   From Great Western Road\, take Bell’s Neck Road (dirt) south. Drive 0
 .25 mile and on the left will be a small trailhead kiosk and parking area.
  Parking is allowed along the sides of the road as well. Meet at the East 
 Trailhead Parking Area next to the trail kiosk.DO NOT PARK IN LOT OFF DEPO
