DESCRIPTION:We will explore beautiful Bell’s Neck including West Reservoi
 r and the Herring River.\n\nMeet at 4:00pm for sign-in and stretching to b
 egin walk promptly at 4:15pm Hosted by: Nancy Strianese with sweep TBD.\n\
 n\n\nPrerequisite: Instructional clinic and comfortable walking on at leas
 t 2 miles of varied terrain.\n\n\nDistance: 2.25 miles. No turn-back or sh
 orter option.\n\n\nPace: Slower on hills- moderate on flat areas\n\n\nTerr
 ain: A combination of well-worn paths (with roots\, rocks\, hills)\, some 
 hard pack roads and asphalt.\n\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather fo
 recast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In conside
 ration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you wi
 ll not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from
  the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repel
 lent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round. WEAR BL
 AZE ORANGE FOR VISIBILITY AND SAFETY DURING HUNTING SEASON (TURKEY HUNTING
  SEASON STARTS 4/27).\n\n\nThis walk will take us along the West Reservoir
  in beautiful Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands. We will follow wooded trai
 ls\, have some great water views\, and views of the Herring River from dif
 ferent locations. You might even want to bring your binoculars to watch th
 e swans\, and osprey.\n\n\n 	Limit 1 walk per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID ba
 dge.\n 	Bring rubber tips\n 	Restrooms and water are not available. Bring 
 tissue in a plastic bag for a bio break.\n 	If your plans change\, kindly 
 cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so oth
 er walkers may join.\n\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled 
 for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 
 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to th
 e walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-generate
 d email and the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on 
 the calendar.\n\n\nDirections:  From Great Western Road\, take Bell’s N
 eck Road (dirt) south. Drive 0.25 mile and on the left will be a small tra
 ilhead kiosk and parking area. Parking is allowed along the sides of the r
 oad as well. Meet at the East Trailhead Parking Area next to the trail kio
 sk.DO NOT PARK IN LOT OFF DEPOT STREET. WE ARE NOT MEETING THERE.\n
