SUMMARY:Beginner\, Sandwich Boardwalk\, 2 miles\, Thursday
DESCRIPTION: \n\nWe’ll stroll across the new Sandwich Boardwalk\, taking
  in beautiful views of the low tide salt marshes\, and Mill Creek. We can 
 pause at the bridge for photos of this peaceful area.Then we’ll head dow
 n the stairs onto the beach. At low tide\, most of the walk will be damp\,
  packed sand. This is a perfect place to practice your technique\, and tak
 e pictures. We’ll head right\, along the beach\, and then retrace our st
 eps\, turning around at the big jetty where the seals sometimes hang out. 
 We’ll take the stairs back onto the boardwalk for our return to the park
 ing lot. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n Meet at 8:45 AM  for sign-in and stretching to
  begin walking promptly at 9:00 AM. Hosted by Alyson Larrabee with Sweep T
 BD. \n\n \n\n—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic\n\n—Distance: appro
 ximately 2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option. We should be finished in
  about an hour.\n\n—Pace: Slow to moderate with stops for water and phot
 o ops.\n\n—Terrain: mostly packed\, damp sand. I like the rubber tips fo
 r this walk.\n\n \n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when 
 booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of pe
 rsonal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be al
 lowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the element
 s. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to prot
 ect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n \n\n \n\n—L
 imit 1 walk per day.\n\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.  \n\n— Rubber tips
  are best.\n\n—There is no water and there are no bathrooms available in
  the off-season. There’s no place to sneak behind a bush and take a bio 
 break.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24
  hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\n \n\nN
 o parking fee\, because it’s after Labor Day and before Memorial Day.\n\
 n&nbsp\;\n\nThis walk is best at or near low tide\, so please be prompt.\n
 \n \n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or oth
 er reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance
 . Check your email (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk 
 is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-generated email and the wa
 lk will no longer be visible in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\n&
 nbsp\;\n\nWear blaze orange for visibility and safety during hunting seaso
 n.\n\n \n\n 	Directions: If you’re using a GPS\, put in BOARDWALK BEACH
  and follow Boardwalk Road to the Sandwich Boardwalk. DO NOT put the phras
 e “Sandwich Boardwalk” into your GPS. You’ll end up in the wrong par
 king lot.\n 	Follow 6A to the traffic light at Jarves Street and head towa
 rd the ocean. Take a left onto Factory Street\, a right onto Harbor Street
  And a left onto Boardwalk Road. DO NOT follow the directions that will le
 ad you to Wood Ave. That’s Town Neck Beach\, and we’ll be in the other
  parking lot.\n\n \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n&nbsp\;
