We can paus e at the bridge for photos of this peaceful area.Then we’ll head down th e stairs onto the beach. At low tide\, most of the walk will be damp\, pac ked sand. This is a perfect place to practice your technique\, and take pi ctures. We’ll head right\, along the beach\, and then retrace our steps\ , turning around at the big jetty where the seals sometimes hang out. We ’ll take the stairs back onto the boardwalk for our return to the parkin g lot. \n\n Meet at 12:15 PM  for sign-in and stretching to begin walki ng promptly at 12:30 PM. Hosted by Alyson Larrabee with Sweep TBD. \n\n  \n\n—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic\n\n—Distance: approximately 2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option. We should be finished in about an h our.\n\n—Pace: Slow to moderate with stops for water and photo ops.\n\n —Terrain: mostly packed\, damp sand. I like the rubber tips for this wal k.\n\n \n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to w alk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourse lf from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n—Limit 1 walk per day.\n \n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.  \n\n— Rubber tips are best.\n\n—There is no water and there are no bathrooms available in the off-season. There ’s no place to sneak behind a bush and take a bio break.\n\n—If your p lans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of w alk start time so other walkers may join.\n\n \n\nNo parking fee\, becaus e it’s after Labor Day and before Memorial Day.\n\n \;\n\nThis walk is best at or near low tide\, so please be prompt.\n\n \n\nWalk may be ca nceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellati on decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (in cluding spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled\, registra nts will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be v isible in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\n \;\n\nWear blaze o range for visibility and safety during hunting season.\n\n \n\n Directio ns: If you’re using a GPS\, put in BOARDWALK BEACH and follow Boardwalk Road to the Sandwich Boardwalk. DO NOT put the phrase “Sandwich Boardwal k” into your GPS. You’ll end up in the wrong parking lot.\n Follow 6A to the traffic light at Jarves Street and head toward the ocean. Take a l eft onto Factory Street\, a right onto Harbor Street And a left onto Board walk Road.
