SUMMARY:All Levels: Wildflower Ramble\, Old Colony Pathway\, Provincetown\,
  1.5 or 3 miles\, Sunday (no Wellfleet road construction)
DESCRIPTION:The whistle of Provincetown’s Old Colony Railroad line is lon
 g gone\, but what remains is a peaceful woodland oasis away from the hustl
 e and bustle of town. For a short time each spring the area is awash with 
 blooming wildflowers\, and there are currently many species in various sta
 ges of bloom. Our inaugural walk here is perfect for flower lovers and pho
 tographers\, walkers who prefer a slower pace\, and for practicing our Nor
 dic technique. All levels welcome if the distance and stop-and-smell-the-r
 oses pace suit you. \nMeet at 12:45 pm to sign in and stretch. We’ll be
 gin walking promptly at 1. Hosted by Sue Moynihan with Sweep TBD. Read to 
 the bottom for directions to our meeting point. \nPrerequisite: Instructio
 nal clinic\nDistance: 1.5 or 3 miles\, you choose\nPace: Slow and meanderi
 ng\, aimed at appreciating the area’s beauty and looking for spring wild
 flowers\nTerrain: Level hard-pack trail with no hills\nFor Your Safety: Co
 nsider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON 
 ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive w
 ithout water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and 
 choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect
  yourself from ticks\, which are active year round. \n\n\n 	Limit 1 walk 
 per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge\n 	Carry bug spray.\n 	Sunday\; no hun
 ting.\n 	No water or restroom. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a 
 bio break need.\n 	If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at le
 ast 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nW
 alk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reason
 s. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. **Check

 before driving to the walk.** If a walk is canceled\, registrants will rec

 y\, Snail Road\, Provincetown.\nDirections: Route 6 to Provincetown. After
  crossing the Truro town line into Provincetown\, take the first left onto
  Snail Road. Parking is available along the roadway. We’ll park tightly 
 to allow room for others walking here.
