  on All Persons trail with wide paths.\n\nMeet at 10:45 am (15 minutes pri
 or to walk time] for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 1

 Clinic\n\n—Distance: .5 or 1 mile Your choice. Turn back or shorter opti
 on available if you need it\n\n—Pace: Slow\n\n—Terrain: All persons tr
 ail. Wide\, level\, smooth compacted sand or gavel. Comfortable under foot
 \, not like pavement.  Slight incline at beginning / end.\n\nFor Your Saf
 ety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARR
 IED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you a
 rrive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weath
 er and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for
  trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which ar
 e active year-round.\n\nFeeling uncertain about starting or restarting you
 r Nordic walking journey? You’re not alone! Many feel that it might be t
 oo far or too difficult\, especially if stamina is a concern. But here’s
  the good news: these wide trails are designed with you in mind! With NO i
 nclines and some shaded spots\, plenty of stops\, several benches if neede
 d. We will do a 0.5 mile loop incorporating the first two of four bridges 
 and great views of the ponds\, returning to close to the parking lot. For 
 those willing and able\, we will turn back the way we came for a 1.0 mile 
 total walk.  No pressure to do the second loop. Great opportunity for any
 one recovering from an injury or long lay-off from walking to get back in 
 the swing.\n\nWe go at a very relaxed pace\, taking frequent breaks to cat
 ch our breath and enjoy the scenery.  So\, what are you waiting for? Ste
 p outside\, connect with nature\, and take the first step towards better h
 ealth with us. You’ve got this! \n\n—Limit 1 walk per day.\n\n—Wear
  your CCNW ID badge.\n\n—Rubber tips for crossing bridges\, or carry pol
 es across.\n\n—Restrooms and water are not available. Bring tissue in a 
 plastic bag in case of a bio break need.\n\n—If your plans change\, kind
 ly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so 
 other walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled
  for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least
  2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) before driving to t
 he walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receive a system-generat
 ed email and also the walk will no longer be visible in the event listing 
 or on the calendar.\n\nDirections: 204 Bank St. Harwich at the beautiful n
 ewly refurbished Fire House Museum. Free parking. Meet at trail head in th
 e rear lot.
