DESCRIPTION:We will enter Nauset Light &amp\; climb the stairs for a view b
 efore we walk the grounds around the light and the nearby Three Sisters. E
 njoy the high elevation viewpoint over the Atlantic before walking down to
  Nauset Light Beach. All levels are welcome if the distance\, pace\, and t
 errain suit you. \nPlease consider making a cash donation to the Nauset L
 ight Preservation Society who keeps the history alive &amp\; makes our ent
 ering  this historic light posible.\nMeet at 4:15 pm to check in and stre
 tch. We’ll walk to the light promptly at 4:25. Hosted by Ellie Devlin wi
 th Sweep TBD. \nPrerequisite: Instructional Clinic and ability to walk 2.0
  miles at a steady pace. \nDistance: 3 miles. Half hour walk on the beach
  will be at your own pace.   \nPace: Moderate and steady\, with views an
 d rest stops.\nTerrain: Pavement and gravel road. Rubber tips necessary. S

 ety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARR
 IED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you a
 rrive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weath
 er and protect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for
  trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which ar
 e active year-round. Wear blaze orange for visibility and safety during hu
 nting season.\n\n\n 	Limit 1 walk per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	
 Rubber tips necessary.\n 	Restrooms and water available. Bring tissue in a
  plastic bag in case of a bio break need.\n 	If your plans change\, kindly
  cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so ot
 her walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled f
 or weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2
  hours in advance. ** Check your email (including spam) AND this walk list
 ing before driving to the walk. ** If a walk is canceled\, registrants wil
 l receive a system-generated email\, and the walk will no longer be visibl
 e in the event listing or on the calendar.\nThis walk is authorized under 
 a National Park Service Special Use Permit. Parking permits not yet requir
 ed midweek.\nDirections: Meet at Nauset Light Beach Parking lot at the int
 ersection of Cable Road and Ocean View Drive\, Eastham (780 Ocean View Dri
 ve\, Eastham\, NOT Wellfleet). Meet in the lot\, diagonally opposite from 
 the bathhouse. Note: This is Nauset LIGHT Beach\, Eastham\, NOT Nauset Bea
 ch\, Orleans.
